What are my payment options?

All Domain purchases can be completed online using our secure shopping cart. TheRightNames.com accepts all major credit cards including, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, and Discover, as well as wire transfers and PayPal.

All payment options are secured via Escrow.com process and Credit card transactions are processed within 72 hours. Wire transfers usually require 3-4 business days after receipt of funds.

What’s the escrow process?

  • Buyer uploads payment to be held by the escrow service.
  • The Agreement is set up with Escrow.com
  • The Transaction starts
  • The domain asset and relative purchased value held change hands only after the domain name transfer to the new buyer is completed
  • Email Confirmation is sent to both parties

How much are Escrow.com fees on purchased domain acquisitions?

The Escrow Fee varies based on the full cost, role and country and can be determined using the Escrow Fee Calculator Tool

Escrow.com accepts credit cards for purchases of $5000 USD and under (excluding fees. You can also pay via bank wire. Transactions of more than $5000 USD can only be done via bank wire. The Escrow transaction fees are lower on payments made via bank wire and are paid by the buyer.

How long does the Escrow process take?

If buyer and seller are both prompt to act, the escrow process can be completed in as little as two days.

The two biggest determinants are how quickly the buyer makes the payment and how quickly the domain transfer is completed.

Most of the time, the escrow process is completed in about five to seven business days.

I just purchased a Domain Name, now what?

After you submitted your credit card or completed the wire transfer process, We will verify your payment, and the escrow team will start the transfer process. We will inform you via email along the process. Most names are transferred and in your control of the new buyer within 2 to 7 business days of purchase
